To accommodate diverse job-site requirements and electrical specifications, Soleffect provides a variety of connection interfaces for our 120V motorized systems. Whether your project requires a standard outlet connection or a specialized quick-connect for architectural pockets, we offer hardware to match your electrical rough-in.
Standard and Specialized Plug Options
Our 120V motors are compatible with industry-standard connectors designed for safety and ease of maintenance:
- Standard 3-Prong Plugs: The most common solution for residential or light-commercial applications where shades plug directly into a grounded wall outlet.
- Anderson Plugs: High-quality, genderless connectors often used in modular power systems for quick and secure disconnects.
- Wago® Connectors: A preferred choice for professional installers, providing a tool-free, vibration-proof lever connection that is ideal for junction box integration.
- Fast Connectors: Specialized inline connectors designed for rapid assembly and disassembly during maintenance or project commissioning.
Custom Hardware Configurations
We understand that many architectural specifications require shades to be hardwired for a cleaner, hidden aesthetic. For these applications:
- Plug Removal: Upon request, factory-installed plugs can be removed from the motors prior to shipping, providing a clean lead for direct hardwiring by a licensed electrician.
- Field Adaptability: The flexibility of our connector range allows for seamless transitions between temporary power during construction and final permanent connections.
Note: All electrical connections must comply with local building codes. For specific wiring diagrams or to specify a connector type for your order, please contact your Soleffect sales representative.
