WCMA-Compliant Tensioning
Soleffect utilizes a safety device that is fully compliant with the Window Covering Manufacturers Association (WCMA) standards. This device is engineered to eliminate the risk of loose hanging loops, which is critical for child and pet safety in both residential and commercial environments.
Spring-Loaded Mechanism
Our safety device features a sophisticated spring-loaded mechanism that acts as a functional gatekeeper for the shade’s operation:
- Tension-Dependent Operation: The device requires the beaded chain to be fully tensioned and secured to the window mullion or wall. If the device is not properly installed or becomes loose, the internal mechanism will prevent the shade from being raised or lowered.
