To ensure that battery-powered shades remain accessible for maintenance without the need for scaffolding or tall ladders, Soleffect offers specialized extension cables for our charging systems.
Extended Reach for High Windows
While the standard Somfy® wall charger includes a 6-foot lead, many installations require additional length to reach floor-level outlets. We provide 94.5-inch (approx. 7.8 feet) extension cables to bridge this gap.
- Modular Design: These cables are designed to plug directly into the standard wall charger and the motor’s charging port.
- Maximum Length: For ultra-high windows, you can combine up to two extension cables with the primary 6-foot charger.
- Total Reach: By daisy-chaining two extensions, you can achieve a total charging reach of nearly 22 feet, allowing for convenient charging from the ground level.
Ordering & Compatibility
These extension cables are compatible with all Soleffect rechargeable lithium-ion motors. They are particularly useful for shades installed in double-height entryways, great rooms, or commercial atriums.
