The GreenScreen Evolve® 3% is a next-generation sustainable solar screen fabric engineered for interior roller shade applications where environmental responsibility and solar performance go hand in hand. Made from 100% polyester with 78% recycled content, it is one of the most sustainable options in the Mermet portfolio — carrying both a Cradle to Cradle Bronze certification and a Declare Label, making it ideal for LEED, Living Building Challenge, and other green building specifications.

The warp knit construction at 3% openness delivers approximately 97% UV blockage while maintaining meaningful outward visibility. Available in 9 nature-inspired colorways — from deep Storm and Rain to soft Natural, Light, and Cloud — the palette is designed to complement a wide range of interior environments.

GreenScreen Evolve® meets NFPA 701 TM#1, California U.S. Title 19, and CAN/ULC-S109 fire classifications. It is GREENGUARD Gold certified, RoHS compliant (Lead-Free), Antimony-Free FR, and Halogen-Free FR. Bacterial and fungal resistance tested per ASTM E2180 and ASTM G21. Backed by a 5-Year Interior Warranty.

  • Regular light dusting with a feather duster is recommended.
  • A hand-held vacuum with low suction may also be used. When vacuuming, avoid pulling or stretching the fabric — rigorous vacuuming is not recommended as it may distort the weave.
  • Alternatively, dirt and debris can be removed using compressed air or a hand-held air dryer on the cool setting.
  • A dry chemical sponge may be used for spot cleaning.
